Supporting mental health in organizations

Supporting mental health in organizations: developing future business leaders.
The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted well-being of whole societies, calling for urgent actions to improve the scale and cost effectiveness of mental health interventions. One of the possible channels for such interventions could be the workplace.

Supporting mental health in organizations:
developing future business leaders

Starting June 1st, 2022, an international team composed of multidisciplinary focused experts (Leadership, Strategy, International Management, Entrepreneurship, HR Management, Psychology), will conduct a project “Supporting mental health in organizations: developing future business leaders”, financed by the strategic Visegrad grant (https://www.visegradfund.org/).

To develop innovative and cost-efficient solutions for mental health care in the post-Covid times, we need to get the businesses involved. We address this issue by developing a series of workshops, focusing on mental health in organizations. To scale our initiative, we offer a ‘train-the-trainer’ program, preparing future trainers to conduct workshops in other business schools in V4 countries, and we onboard stakeholders (academics, managers, entrepreneurs). As a result, we equip future leaders with the necessary skills and attitudes to respond to mental health challenges in organizations.

The leader of this project is the Faculty of Management, University of Warsaw.
