Binayak Malla

Mr. Binayak Malla a Ph.D. scholar at the University of Warsaw. He is an Assistant Professor at the School of Management,  Kathmandu University (KUSOM), Nepal. He previously worked as a national lead consultant for the Trade for Sustainable Development Program of the International Trade Centre (ITC).
He has led two Nepal-related projects, namely "GreenToCompete Hub" and "Sustainable Marketplace." Both projects are related to enhancing sustainable business practices among tea and coffee enterprises in Nepal. He has diverse research interests and believes in conducting transformative research. His recent publication as a co-author is based on a topic related to lessons learned from top global companies on UN SDGs.
He also co-authored two other articles related to understanding the “impact of street harassment in the marketplace” and “Nepalese migrant workers in the Middle East”. He has initiated an entrepreneurial journey by establishing a company related to business process outsourcing to overseas clients and establishing multiple companies related to coffee - farming, trading, and café businesses that help in promoting Nepali coffee in the international market.
